“Bridging the last-mile gap between the university degree and the workplace”
Any Star Wars fan will know who Obi-wan Kenobi is.
Kenobi was a flawed and terrible mentor in some ways. There are research papers and opinion articles written on his style of mentorship. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, he was the most human and the one that we identified most with.
Likewise, mentoring today is the same. Kinobi stands for the striving for perfection, and not perfection itself. We did a wordplay and added Kin, because that is what Obi-wan is to Anakin in the end – a kin.
They start with 3 Es.
Enabling each generation to be better than the last.
Empowering the new gig economy.
Establishing pathways that will change the lives of others.
We got to where we are today not because of our own abilities alone. Truth be told, many took a chance on us and gave us these opportunities. We are doing the same, and passing it on to the next generation.
Our founders have built several mentoring programs such as The Mentoring Circle in SMU and Mendaki Club Mentoring Circle.
